ABOUT ONE NETWORK’S GLOBAL LOGISTICS GATEWAY (GLG)
The Global Logistics Gateway serves as the single point of connection for Carriers to onboard, integrate and transact across One Network’s Shipper Network. Carriers connected to the GLG can access shipments across all their One Network Clients while also identifying opportunities to improve service levels and automate transactions in the Network.
One Network offers services specifically designed to enable Carrier compliance and excellence.
SERVICES FOR CARRIER COMPLIANCE AND EXCELLENCE
One Network provides the following solutions to support Carrier compliance and excellence:
- Carrier EDI / Integration Service: EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) / Integration is a service offered by One Network that enables direct connectivity between Carrier systems and One Network to automate manual activities that are currently being made via the One Network Portal. This service is helpful if your company has a high volume of shipments or updates being made manually.
- Carrier API / Integration Service: https://rtvn9499-uat.onenetwork.com/oms/apps/CarrierGateway/GLG/CarrierAPI.html
- The One Network Carrier API is a REST-based API that allows Carriers, transportation providers, and bid board providers to enable an automated exchange for shipment quotes, bookings and tracking. Applications using the External Carrier API can increase selling efficiency, reduce labor requirements, and improve response time to Shippers, helping Transportation Providers grow their businesses. Carriers who want customers to directly quote, book and track shipments through ONE may implement the REST API documented below. REST APIs allows ONE to “plug in” the Carrier’s services seamlessly, allowing customers to immediately begin collaborating with them. When a Carrier enables these REST APIs (along with OAuth-based authentication), Carriers can begin immediately transacting across One Network’s Shipper networks.
Once you have completed onboarding with One Network, and your company would like to setup EDI or API Integration to automate your activities in the Network, please review and sign the Carrier Integration Amendment Agreement, which can be downloaded here. EDI or API integration is an optional service One Network offers as part of the American Red Cross transportation solution, however all required activities can be completed through the One Network Portal if that is preferred. Note that EDI and API activation and annual subscription/usage fees have been waived as part of your partnership with American Red Cross, however, standard One Network EDI or API fees may be applicable if your company would like to use your integration setup for another One Network customer in the future.
